"Fully autonomous" should mean that the robot is not remotely controlled by a human or a computer.
If so, how much smartness can be crammed into the limited space that is available in a humanoid robot after equipping it with skeleton, actuators and power source?

I’m still waiting for people to wake up to why robotics is about to take off exponentially, and it wasn’t discussed in this video. A physics based video game with a robot can use machine learning to learn how to move, after MILLIONS of iterations, then you can connect a real life robot to the game and it can replicate the final outcome. It’s coined as “digital twin”. Cost of R&D has just plummeted. The coolest videos on youtube on this are many years old so we never got to see a public showcase of how powerful this is. I guess we will just see the outcome: advanced robots

Edit: 17:52 leader at OpenAI even missed it when he said “it’s not the same as software at all”. If you have a quality simulation, it is.

Edit2: here is a recent example by Amazon and NVIDIA https://youtu.be/-VQLqs6s9y0?si=3Mn-pfaBnD91asx5
