MGMT is worth a deep dive. They are probably the most interesting band going currently. They have chosen a strange but wonderful path that sees them reinvent themselves over and over again with varying degrees of success. I think it's commendable. Their first album is damn near perfect (Oracular Spectacular) and it brought them instant success. Their second album (Congratulations) is a masterpiece in my eyes and it's nothing like the first album. I'm sure their label was unhappy about that. Loss of Life is revealing yet another side of MGMT. I love it.

Their first effort there first major hit effort. Album was actually done as an inside joke, where they were trying to troll pop music, and then it ended up being a huge hit to their chagrin chagrin. I believe his name is Andrew the songwriter main singer is actually amazing. I’m a singer songwriter myself at least I’d like to think so and he’s one of my favorites is really amazing and weird and innovative in classic all the same time and has a crazy sense of humor and this is my first time to your channel and im enjoying myself. Thank you. The song me and Michael is lovely ❤

You single handedly encapsulated why this album will be known as MGMT's magnum opus with one word "Human". MGMT at times felt like it was missing this in some senses and this album humanizes them an a whole new level

Honestly, they're one of the bands of my generation.

    Consistently beautiful. Constantly evolving.

They started with megahits but man oh man has their catalog proven to be a constant companion.

Cried all throughout the new album <3

    Also side note: MGMT

Is a reference to Management — i.e. the abbreviation that often appears on stubs in the US at least as to who represents an artist. It's kind of tongue-in-cheek.

Listening to a MGMT noob is so funny. Saying the arrangements Is wierd is so hilarious to me. Music heads who don't know of mgmt at this point in time is crazy to me.

Man MGMT is like the first band I have memory of listening to. Time to Pretend and Kids when I was like 10 or 11 maybe, what a throwback not listened to them in years, you should definitely listen to those 2, and electric feel which you mentioned. Dont mind this one either, very different to their older stuff though
